Bluejack National is a new private club and resort-style community located on 755-acres of rolling hills in Montgomery, Tex., not far from Houston.  Bluejack, which features the only Tiger Woods-designed golf course and short course in the United States, is limited to 400 residences and 550 memberships. An exclusive club and community worth visiting.

With more than 150 golf courses and hundreds of the game’s top touring professionals calling it home, Orlando is arguably the “Golf Capital of the World.” So picking a piece of the tourist mecca for my recent golf getaway was as difficult as sticking an island green approach shot from 200 yards with my 3-iron.

When Captain James Cook was credited with discovering Hawaii in 1778, the British explorer landed on what is considered one of the most remote land masses in the world. Situated near the center of the Pacific Ocean, Hawaii is a long 2,390 miles west of California and 3,850 miles east of Japan.

Remote status notwithstanding, visitors continue to flock to this dreamy Pacific Ocean paradise. For full disclosure, my family discovered Hawaii in 1977 and we’ve been residents ever since.
